Spotify’s Neha Sharma Katyal joins Disney+ Hotstar

Neha Sharma Katyal has been appointed as the Director of Agency Sales at Disney+ Hotstar. Prior to this, she served as the Director of Sales at Spotify for a period of over six months. Her decision to join Disney+Hotstar was announced through her LinkedIn post.

In her new role as Director of Agency Sales, Neha sees it as a thrilling and dynamic opportunity to contribute to and develop the agency business, while making a significant impact across the vast sports and entertainment content. She expressed excitement about working on the upcoming slate of Sports content, including events like the Asia Cup, World Cup, Premier League, and more.

Interestingly, this is Neha’s second time working with Disney+Hotstar and Disney Star, as she was previously associated with them from 2014 to 2018.

With 15 years of experience under her belt, Neha started her career at Network18 and later moved to BBC Worldwide, where she served as the West Sales Head. Additionally, she has held significant roles at Twitter, including that of a Senior Client Partner, and her final position at the company was as the Business Head of India operations.
