Megha Malagatti is appointed as Managing Director at Hermes India 

French luxury brand Hermès has announced the appointment of Megha Malagatti as its new Managing Director for India. Prior to this role, Malagatti served as the Director of Business Development for beauty technology tools at L’Oréal since June 2023.  

Her professional background includes overseeing marketing for renowned brands like Kiehl’s, Shu Uemura, and Urban Decay across the SAPMENA region (South Asia, Pacific, Middle East, and North Africa). She also managed travel retail operations for India and the Indian subcontinent while at L’Oréal. 

Before joining L’Oréal in 2020, Malagatti spent seven years at luxury brand S.T. Dupont, where she led the Retail Excellence division for France and the UK. During this time, she was an active member of the Comité Colbert and the network of French Foreign Trade Advisors.  

Malagatti began her career in information technology in Bangalore, India, before relocating to France in 2012 to pursue an MBA and transition into the luxury goods sector.
