Prashanth Balarama is appointed as Senior Director of Comms for Honeywell India 

Prashanth Balarama has joined Honeywell as the Senior Director of Communications for Honeywell India. In this role, he will oversee internal and external communications as well as corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives across India, aiming to enhance the brand and drive growth.

Previously, Prashanth spent over 25 years at IBM, where he held various communications and marketing leadership positions throughout the Asia Pacific region. Most recently, he led global communications for IBM’s Artificial Intelligence division while based in Singapore. 

Throughout his 27-year tenure at IBM, Prashanth showcased his expertise in communications planning, media relations, and brand development. His extensive background in digital marketing and corporate leadership will be a significant asset in his new role at Honeywell. 

Before his appointment at Honeywell, Prashanth served as the Global Geo Communications Lead for AI at IBM from 2023 to 2024, where he played a key role in formulating and executing communications strategies for the company’s AI business units worldwide. His IBM career also included positions such as External Communications Leader for Asia Pacific and Brand & Communications Leader for India/South Asia, where he was recognized for his contributions to brand journalism, public relations, and strategic communications.
